You'll see a warning at 80% of your machine cap and again when you hit it. We give you a 30-day grace period to upgrade, so a busy month doesn't lock you out. Upgrading is one click on /settings/billing — Stripe prorates the difference.
Yes, anytime, from /settings/billing. Your data stays — we don't delete anything when you cancel. You go read-only after the period you paid for ends, and you can export your data or come back later. No contracts, no penalties.
Pro's differentiating features (Plaid bank feeds, Tax Season Bundle export) need a few weeks of focused build before they're worth charging $99/mo for.
